Fine Young

Some of the qualities of great NFL quarterbacks are quite obvious and well known by coaches and by football fans. Top quarterbacks tend to be about 6'3" tall and they typically weigh about two hundred and fifteen pounds. In addition, they need a strong throwing arm, quick feet, the ability to read defenses, outstanding vision, fine reflexes, clock management skills, self-discipline, focus, confidence and a personality which allows them to stay calm under pressure.
The great quarterbacks also tend to be good leaders and outstanding communicators. Politicians have the luxury of using speech writers to assist them when they need to communicate with their publics. Quarterbacks need to be able to communicate effectively with the players and the coaches during the heat of fast paced battle.
Several years ago, a talented young quarterback came to see me because he wanted to learn how he could better relate to and communicate with his teammates in the huddle. This fine young man had all the physical tools of a great football general. He was a star in high school, but had more difficulty managing the members of his college team who came from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds.
This young man was rather quiet, shy and soft spoken and he was having some difficulty in motivating and encouraging his teammates, particularly when they were faced with pressure and chaos which are often present in an important and close game.
The first thing I helped him with was the building of his own self-confidence .Once I built him up a bit, and his self-confidence grew, we started to discuss how he could improve his relationships with his teammates.
We spent some time working on his communication style and on bettering his on and off field relationships with his teammates. He made a point to spend more time off the field with members of the football team. I suggested that he keep a journal on each of this teammates which would remind him of what might motivate them during the course of a game.
Once he understood more about the other players, it was easy to develop more effective ways to talk to each and every member of his offensive team.
I familiarized him with motivational speeches and gave him some suggestions as to how to inspire, motivate, encourage and get his teammates focused on the bench and in the huddle. After all, I spend a lot my time giving emotional pep talks to patients every day.
A good quarterback needs to know how each of his teammates is likely to behave during a game. He also needs to know that what motivates lineman to block effectively may not be the same thing which inspires receivers to perform well. He also needs to know what he needs to do get his teammates to feel positively about him.
These kinds of management and leadership skills are not easy for a young athlete to learn. Consider how hard it is for experienced managers, leaders and executives to communicate effectively with their staffs and their employees
However, a young athlete who develops these interpersonal skills is building a foundation to be a fine leader in sports as well as in his off the field profession.

How to attract this fine dumb young lady?
She's great everything she does, she says, and she is courgeous, but the only thing makes me affraid that she is too young compared to me may be 12 years or less, what should I do to convince her to go out with me someday. Pls help
I tried too many times to do so but noway I wasn't successful
YOu could start by not calling her dumb.

Report: Homily Outlining Prelude To Lent For San Francisco Roman Catholics By Archbishop George H. Niederauer By Peter Menkin
Report: Homily outlining prelude to Lent for San Francisco Roman Catholics by Archbishop George H. Niederauer
by Peter Menkin
In a neat Homily given as a prelude to Lent on the World Day of Prayer for the Sick at St. Mary's Cathedral, San Francisco, a theme of “…we need each other…” was knit, offering a statement about Christ about, “Many Americans pride themselves on being rugged individualists, on being able to ‘go it alone.'”
Archbishop George H. Niederauer is commenting about the condition of humanity and specifically Americans and their relationships with one another, especially with the sick, in how we as human beings whether sick or well, “…need to be needed.”
Setting out on what this writer has called a neat Homily (as in compact and well said), the Lenten Season which began Ash Wednesday (February 17, 2010), is applied to the World Day of Prayer for the Sick. Quoting the Gospel of the Bible, the Archbishop gives his listener Jesus Christ's words that speak on relationships, a Roman Catholic and Christian concern: “I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me, naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me.”
What have these words of Jesus' to do with us, how does the Archbishop say these words are relevant in their counterculture way to the St. Mary's Cathedral, San Francisco event of February where a congregation of 300 showed up where the Archbishop was principal celebrant at Holy Communion? For this is how the Roman Catholic Church began Lent in prelude this year, this is how the newspaper Catholic San Francisco” presented on its front page the full text of the Homily that celebrated, “…as a special occasion for growth, with an attitude of listening, reflection, and effective commitment in the face of the great mystery of pain and illness…” this religious season of the year.
The explanation is based on a concern with the Gospel messages found in the Magnificat this year 2010 for the Lenten season, so the Church offers as emphasis for the season of Christian penitence.
Apparently, mindfulness and caring for others in relationship is nuanced as part of the Lenten journey, traditionally noted for abstinence solely. So how does all of this come to Lent and its prelude day celebration the World Day of Prayer to the sick? “Jesus Christ comes to us in the hungry, the stranger, the sick person, so that we can love and serve him in them.” Archbishop Niederauer goes on to tell his pastoral message:
…Christ comes to those in need through us; he loves them and serves them through us, if we let him do so…
In its compact way, spare in word but powerful in Christian message for Roman Catholics and likely as well Christians in general or even citizens of San Francisco's Bay Area who may not be religious or Roman Catholic, the Homily preaches a clear if startling social message. Speaking rhetorically, Archbishop George H. Niederauer as Homilist, seems to reflect in his message a preaching like St. Paul's: “I preach nothing but Jesus Christ, and him crucified.” His rhetorical question is posed to the fallen Roman Catholic, the believer, and mankind in general, for his is an appeal as well as admonition in this revolution of values proclamation set by Jesus Christ:
“Is this not merely a vague, spiritually romantic thought? No, to make it very real and down to earth, the Church sets before us, front and center, the life, suffering death and resurrection of Jesus Christ…”
More so, this Homily for the sick is meant as comfort and comforting.
For the sake of clarity, the Archbishop says in the Cathedral Mass, “…in honor of our Lady of Lourdes…hosted by the Order of Malta Western Association, USA, based in San Francisco,” a doctrinal statement understood easily, and tells those who will listen to him the reality of Christ in the life of Roman Catholics and the Roman Catholic Church:
Make no mistake: Christians are not in love with suffering—we do not glamorize, romanticize it or seek it out. However, neither do we run from it, nor do we interpret it as a sign of God's anger or rejection. Because the Son of God became human with us in Jesus Christ, and embraced everything about being human, including suffering and death, and through his very suffering, death and resurrection merited forgiveness of sins and eternal life for us—because of his saving action, every human experience except sin has meaning and purpose and value in Christ.
Calling the Gospel reading of the day a “moral revolution.” He says, “Consider the social revolution in values as Mary prays: “God has thrown down the rulers from their thrones and has lifted up the lowly.” The Magnificat goes on with Mary saying: The hungry God has filled with good things, the rich he has sent empty away.”

What was your favorite folk song by Peter, Paul and Mary and do you remember the words?
The song was written by Bob Dylan but I like the PP+M version better.
"Blowin' in the Wind"
How many roads must a man walk down before they call him a man?
How many seas must a white dove sail before she sleeps in the sand?
How many times must the canon balls fly before theyre forever banned?
The answer, my friend, is blowin in the wind
The answer is blowin in the wind.
How many years must a mountain exist before it is washed to the sea?
How many years can some people exist before theyre allowed to be free?
How many times can a man turn his head and pretend that he just doesnt see?
The answer, my friend, is blowin in the wind
The answer is blowin in the wind.
How many times must a man look up before he can see the sky?
How many ears must one man have before he can hear people cry?
How many deaths will it take till he knows that too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin in the wind
The answer is blowin in the wind.
The answer is blowin in the wind.
Peter, Paul and Mary sang this in 3 part harmony. The lyrics are far more meaningful than just entertainment. This song is a classic example of how the music of the 60's influenced the world we lived in at that time. We need more influence like this today.

Like Knife Adams

This book titled The Officer's Wife is the true story of the double life led by North Carolina psychologist Michelle Theer. She was married to Marty, a decorated Air Force pilot. After meeting Army Sergeant John Diamond on the Internet for a sexual escapade in the year 2000, Michelle Theer then masterminded the murder of her husband.
This book is the first book that I read written by Michael Fleeman. Do not for one minute consider this true crime story as just another book about a wife murdering her husband. Bearing in mind that the wife in this case is a psychologist prepare yourself for actions by this murderess you had not even thought possible if it even entered your mind at all. This book has so many twists and turns you will start thinking they writer made it up. But no, this is completely true and happened in real life. You will not put this book down until you have read the entire story. Besides she moves so fast you start feeling she will leave you behind and you will miss an important part.
I read pretty fast but this book was so full of facts that I made sure to read each and every single word just in case. Michael Fleeman writes really well and keeps you engrossed and involved. This woman will keep you wondering for days after as to how her mind works and how brilliantly it ticks. She even went on the run and had plastic surgery to alter her appearance.
I would definitely recommend going on this journey by reading this book if only to find out how someone can study a profession like psychology and use that knowledge in real life to manipulate and destroy.
The above is my personal review on the true crime book The Officer's Wife and I would recommend accessing the opinions of other readers of true crime stories before making an online book purchase.

i have a thyroid problem, please help me?
ever since i was 11 my adams apple kept growing larger and larger.
Now im 16 and it pokes out like someone stabbed a knife threw the back of it.
Every time i swallow food i have to put my head down a bit because thats how large it is.
Is there any way I can solve this problem (preferrably naturally)
like will working out or gaining weight to cover it up a bit, just something to make it disappear.
plz help me out
thanks
Ok Topper Linda how do I solve this problem?
I'm suspecting that what you are describing is an enlarged thyroid gland.. Goiter. You state that you have a thyroid problem.. are you on replacement hormone for it?
Proper treatment for the thyroid condition should reduce the size of the goiter, making it easier to swallow and not so noticeable.

Saigon Kick

Saigon Kick

Did you ever notice the things you do without thinking about them? Things that you do "unconsciously?" For instance have you pressed down on imaginary brakes in a car while you were in the passenger seat? When you brush your teeth, do you think, "Today, I'm going to get this right."? Have you ever wept during a film or while reading a book? Even when you consciously know you're only reading a book or seeing flickering lights on a screen, somehow the experience has bypassed your logical conscious mind and has engaged your subconscious mind which is where your emotions are.
I distinctly recall seeing the musical Little Miss Saigon on Broadway. We had third row seats so we could see everything. It's a very powerful story with a heart-wrenching climax. As it was unfolding, I could feel my eyes beginning to tear up. I fought it hard. I knew the lights were about to come up and I didn't want to my friends seeing me all teary-eyed. I looked at the curtains. I told myself, these are just actors. None of this is real. It didn't help. Sure enough, the curtain rose and I was all wet faced. But, I quickly discovered I wasn't the only guy touched. There were a lot of men and women wiping tears away.
The subconscious mind doesn't know the difference between what is real and what isn't. That's why we respond emotionally to film and plays. That's also why we stomp on brakes we know are not there. Top athletes operate on a subconscious level. A fighter doesn't have the time to decide, "Oh. Here comes a hook kick. I'll slip under it and counter punch. No wait, I have a better idea..." He has to respond on a subconscious level instantly or he will get leveled himself.
Emotions make up the next part of the subconscious mind. Have you ever had a broken heart? It's a lousy feeling and such a strong emotion. It actually feels as though your heart is broken. You don't want it and wish you could get rid of it, but it has to run its course. That is not an intellectual decision. You don't go into your conscious mind and say, "I'd like an order of a broken heart and severe chest pain, please." Emotions pierce the conscious mind whether you like it or not. Just like me watching "Miss Saigon" and tearing up.
When the movie, Jaws, was released in the mid-seventies, many people got an irrational fear of going into the water after seeing the movie. Even though a shark had never attacked them, the fear they experienced watching the film pushed them from respecting the water to fearing it.
Films are wonderful because they can penetrate the conscious mind and take us into a trance state where the subconscious mind doesn't know the difference between what is real and what is imagined. Even though you know that the film is nothing more than light projected onto a screen and everything is fake, you go into a trance that records the fear into your subconscious mind. Since one of the main jobs of the subconscious mind is to protect you, it pushed some Jaws viewer's respect for water and sharks to a level of irrational fear.
That's why people with irrational fears will tell you, "I know it's silly, but I can't ..." Consciously they know it's irrational. That's also why it's difficult to get over the fear in the conscious state. It was installed in the subconscious mind and often requires a process on the subconscious level to correct.
When you sleep, your conscious mind rests. However, the subconscious mind works 24/7 quietly beneath the surface. It works much like a computer. When you are born, it's as though your computer was empty. It didn't have an operating system. With every experience, emotion, influence, touch, taste, sound, sight and feeling, your operating system begins to program you. Some programming is fine while other programming may be harmful in the long-term. Keep in mind that the subconscious mind's job is to mold us into the person it perceives us to be based upon the programming. If your dad told you that you were stupid over-and-over again when you were young, you begin to believe your programming and act accordingly. Your programming becomes you.
This programming is created by the various components of the subconscious mind starting with long-term memory. Your subconscious mind is like a full color, full sound security video camera that is recording everything and sensation that you have ever seen, heard, felt, tasted, smelled, experienced or that has happened to you.
The subconscious mind is the opposite. It's a non-stop camera recording from the inside.

To K1LL a M0CKING THE0RY?
Haven't the Domino Theory already been felt in South East Asia already. After the fall of Saigon, Cambodia, and Loas became communist goverments. The Vietnam's communist govt. kicked out the Baton Rouge in Cambodia and replaced Cambodia's Baton Rouge with a communist govt. (Loas, CaMbodia became communist govt.)
So, didn't the Domino Theory already affected the South Eastern Countries already?
Baton Rouge is in Louisiana, I think you mean the Moulon Rouge.
But apparently yes the domino theory was proven, most of them fell to communism.
Hence History teaching us why staying in Iraq is so important, but libtards will figure this out too late.
