In today's microwave, I'm impatient, give-it-to-me-now society, it amazes me that there are still convenience store owners, and gas station and bar owners that do not have ATMs inside their businesses.

The thing that some people do not realize is that an ATM is a money machine. Sure, it's a machine that gives money to people from their bank accounts, but it's also a money machine for the person that owns it, because it makes money for them. And, the great thing about this "money machine" is that the owner doesn't have to do very much to earn money from it.

Every time someone withdraws money from an ATM, the owner of the ATM machine earns a surcharge fee. And because the surcharge fee belongs to the owner of the ATM, he gets to set the surcharge at whatever he wants. (The national average is around $2.00)

Another way an ATM earns money for business owners is through increased sales. A recent Convenience Store industry study reported that ATM customers spend 25% more than non-ATM customers. If you owned a convenience store in an area without many ATMs, chances are you would get a number of people coming in to get cash that would end up spending some of their money in your store on drinks or snack items.

Finally, for business owners that accept credit cards, having an ATM can play a big role in reducing credit card processing fees. By offering cash to your customers, more of them will pay you in cash, which means fewer credit card transactions and lower monthly credit card processing fees.

ATM Network doesn't just sell ATM machines - they develop long-lasting, win-win relationships. To learn more about ATM machines, visit http://www.atmnetwork.net.

was my grandmother olga elizabeth daggett wealthy in lebanon along time ago when she lived there ?

she was a little girl over in lebanon along time ago i believe she was born in around the 1920's or 30's from what i here her family was very wealthy maybe even kings or queens she came over to america on a ship when she was a little girl. her family landed in pascagoula near alabama she later grew up and married someone out of the family which was not allowed , the rules were if you were lebonese then u married someone that was lebonese but she didnt she married an american man named bill smith in the 1930 's

You seem to know more about this than the internet ever could. Olga isn't a very Lebanese name. Was she a colonist? If so, her family's wealth was most likely tied up in land and/or business. The Lebanese have a reasonably good system of keeping track of title to land, but the civil war destroyed a lot of the records. In any case, there were no kings or queens in Lebanon, since it was a French colony at the time. Prior to that it was controlled by the Ottoman Turks, ditto.
