When a lot of people hear time management, they immediately begin thinking about work and keeping things organized at their job. 1. Friends

It can be easy to get caught up in work and forget about friends, but you certainly do not want to lose touch with the people that mean the most to you. Friends are there for you good times or bad and certainly deserve time in your life. Make sure whether its once a week or once a day you go to lunch with a friend, see a movie or even take a vacation with friends to show them you care.

2. Family

Family will always be family, but it is important you show them what they mean to you from time to time. Give your sibling a call to see how school is going. Call up your mom to see how work is going or how the week in general has been panning out. Most importantly, spend time with them and cherish every last minute you spend with them.

3. Exercise

Exercise deserves personal time management as this is your health. For some it is easy to get out and exercise while others struggle big time to work out. Regardless, it is vital you plan time in your day to jog for 30 minutes or ride your bike a few times each week. Exercise will eliminate stresses in your life while keeping your body healthy and fit.

4. Diet

Although strange, your diet is certainly another personal aspect to keep an eye on as far as time management. When talking about diet and time you need to start thinking about when you are eating. Take time out of your day to eat four or five smaller meals and you will be amazed at the difference in your health and weight. Throwing down a large meal in a few minutes is not healthy and will show over time.

5. Fun

Perhaps the most important personal time management on your agenda needs to be your social life. Life is too short to focus on work 24/7 along with the millions of other stress related issues. Get out and have fun with friends, enjoy a movie with a better half, or simply relax and read a book to yourself. Whatever you find enjoyable in life, plan time to do just that every day to keep life enjoyable.
